GOLF ON September 7th Need Response by Friday

'For those interested in playing golf, the Black Mountain Golf Course has provided us with a reduced green fee and cart rental of $30 for Saturday, September 7th.  Tee times begin at 11:28 a.m.  If you would like to play, please send Allen Blizard an email (allen.blizard@gmail.com<mailto:allen.blizard@gmail.com>).  Please include your handicap or average score for 18 holes.  Also please include your cell phone number.'  Response is needed no later than Monday, September 2nd.

Reunion Count Down 13 Days Update August 24

Reunion Weekend is Approaching FAST!

Wanted to give everyone an update on activities:

Tail Gate

September 6th -4:00pm to 7:00pm upper lot at the high school if you want to just attend the tailgate cost is $10.00 per family . Please plan to have your dish and drinks there by 5:30 that's when we will start serving and will end at 6:30. We will have T-shirts commemorating the reunion on sale for $10.00 each. Come hangout, reminisce and play cornhole before the game.

Tree Planting

September 7th -10:00am Grounds of the high school we will be planting a Southern Magnolia Tree and placing a plaque as a reminder of our class to future generations of the warhorse spirit.Please plan to attend. Details on meeting location to follow.

Golf

September 7th Golf at the Black Mountain Municipal Course in the afternoon please send an email to cdowenclassof83@gmail.com if you plan to participate in the golf outing. Please let us know by September 3rd.

Dinner

September 7th Ale House 5PM-10PM . Cost $40.00 per person. Dinner, dancing, door prizes and a walk down memory lane. Please get you money into Lynn ASAP.

If you have not sent your money and you plan to attend please email and let us know we need a headcount for the Tailgate and the Ale House. I know last time people were disappointed they did not have a customized name tag. We need to know you plan to attend to make name tags and as you know September is just a week away.

Tailgate -Owen Vs Reynolds at Charles D. Owen High School, 99 Lake Eden Road, Black Mountain 4:00pm-7:00pm. Hot Dogs & Hamburgers provided. Please bring a chair, a covered dish & a non alcoholic beverage to share.  Please bring your covered dish and plan to begin eating at 5:30pm. Ballgame entrance fee separate.

Saturday September 7^th

Plant a Memorial Tree at Owen High School, 99 Lake Eden Road, Black Mountain 10:00am

 

Golf Black Mountain Municipal Course please email if you plan to play golf. We need a head count.

 

Dinner & Dance at the Ale House, 117 Cherry Street, Black Mountain 5:00pm -10:00pm

Passed Appetizers, Dinner selections Steak, Chicken, Fish or Vegetarian Entrée with

a cash bar and DJ, Dress business casual.

Cost  includes the Tailgate and Dinner

                                            $35.00 per person August 1-August 31st

                                            $40.00 per person September 1-September 7        After Sept 1st email for instructions on payment. Do not mail payment to Lynn.

Less Than A Month Till Reunion

Spread the Word September 6 & 7

I know everyone is busy with summer winding down and back to school around the corner but we still have many Lost classmates. Please help spread the word to any Lost Classmates that you may be in contact with. If each person contacted 5 people we could reach everyone. We have less than a month left until reunion day. The main goal is to ensure that all class members are aware of the reunion and have the opportunity to attend.
